Social Media - Going Global

I have many passions; one of which is making my classroom a place where students want to L-E-A-R-N! While graduating classes come and go, the world of pedagogy and the way we interact with kids is changing with every heartbeat.

My other passion is social media - the WEB 2.0! Making my voice and my thoughts heard (or at least have the possibility of being heard) and engaging in conversation. Social media has evolved so quickly that I scarcely can keep up.

As I navigate this tricky world and endeavor to find new avenues stimulate neurons in my cranium I attempt (albeit sometimes futilely) to blend my PASSIONS together. Today I came across this article

    The school district that I work in uses a variety of social media to connect with parents... but not yet students (that I know of).

    It's it's a very tech-forward district, so I see that on the horizon.
